Cindy Smith became acquainted with antiques while touring France as a college student, and, ever since, she has been curating the finest European antiques—tables, chests and cabinets, mirrors and frames, objets, pots and planters, paintings and wall hangings—for her design clients. In 2022, Cindy embarked on her latest venture, opening CIIRCA, a new online storefront of antique and vintage pieces, with every item reflecting her level of taste and signature style for which she has become so well known over the years. Now, with over a year of sourcing for CIIRCA, Cindy and her associate, Virginia Christianson, are operating a fully stocked online store and warehouse by appointment only in the Eastover Neighborhood of Charlotte, North Carolina.

ABOUT CIRCA II
As a student in France, Cindy Smith developed a passion for antiques. This studied eye led her to launch Circa Interiors & Antiques, opening in 1979. Her shop became an interior design and decor destination. Cindy’s reputation as taste maker grew and her shop expanded and flourished with the help of her family and many coworkers. Her daughter, Whitney, now owns the Circa Birmingham shop, and her son and his wife, Chad and Heather, own the Circa Charlotte shop.
In 2022 Cindy has shifted back to her antique importing roots with Circa II Antiques, a carefully curated selection of European antiques. Her talent for sourcing beautiful and special pieces will be on display within the Circa family of shops and this website. Constant updates on new arrivals will be posted on our instagram
